My Syrian hamster loves his sand bath and is in it daily. I've used a few different types of sand but this sand is definitely the softest I've used yet. It's bright white which looks good in his sandbath. He sort of twirls in it and enjoys a quick "bath" then he potties in it. I clean it out daily and replenish it often. This is a smaller bag of sand than the desert sand I normally get but it feels cooler and seems less dusty. He likes it and I like the bright white look of it too.

Perhaps someone else’s hamster might feel comfortable in this container but my grandsons hamster didn’t care for it, all he wanted to do was find some way out, I thought it was kind of nice, but I’m not the hamster…he knows what he likes😊

Purchased for my grandson's two hamsters. The sand is very fine, and the hamsters love digging in it. Good product. Would purchase again.

My hamster uses it and has had no issues. Not fond of the color but it works. I haven't noticed a lot of dust? A little seems to go a long way. The price seems average. I'll keep using it ad long ad my hamster is using it without issues.
