I gave this five stars because if you're like me, you read five and one star reviews. I basically like this, but because there are no suction cups and it has loofah, which traps air, it floats. This is not a particular problem if you take showers; you need to be somewhat careful stepping on it since it isn't secure until there is weight on it. But if you like baths, the mat will float up and, especially if it is large (mine started out 36 inches long, see next sentence), it will practically envelop you like a loose-fitting shroud. What I did with my 36-incher was cut it in half; this was easily done with household scissors cutting along lines provided by the matting on the bottom.. And cut down to 18 inches square (with rounded corners, also easily cut), I am rather enjoying this. But to be honest, I'm not sure that I would buy it again.

My mom broke her hip. I needed a non slip mat that still matched my moms newly remodeled shower. We placed her shower chair on top of it and this is perfect it does not slide and her feet are gripped under her.Mom has been using it since June and it looks as good as new. Definitely recommend for anyone needed a good non slip shower mat.

I have always bought the large smooth shower mats and when I ran across this mat on sale I thought why not try it.I have sensitive feet so much it’s hard for me to walk outside without shoes. Those random pebbles hurt. Also it’s hard for me to touch my feet because they are so ticklish.So I bought this mat and tried it out. It was alittle scratchy on my feet (not hurt or ticklish but more of a light scratch when I move my feet) Honestly it felt good. I liked it. Now my only regret is I wish I bought a bigger one. I will next time.

I bought this to place my dog on when I gave him a bath. He absolutely hates his nails. Clicking on the bottom of the bathtub. Absolutely flips him out. I put this in the tub, and he loves it. He sat down for a while. He stood up for a while. He was completely chill. He no longer hates bath time!

Well I never slip on it plus it should take the dead skin of the bottom of my feet, This one is on the small size if they offer a larger size get that.

I didn't rate the suction power because this doesn't have suction cups, one of the reasons I selected it! I love this, it fits perfectly in the tub, catches fallen hair (which is easily removed), drains/dries very quickly and feels great on the feet! It also stops your feet from slipping - which is very important! I highly recommend this if you need a bathmat.

I like that the mat does not slide around the tub when wet, solid grip without suction cups. This makes it easier to hang up to dry so it doesn't get moldy. It is also very comfortable on the feet.I purchased a mat for my elderly dad because this one is much safer. Suction cup mats tend to slide around unless you are very careful to make sure all of the suctions are solidly pressed into the tub. With this mat, there is no problem with slipping.

This mat was a gift for my elderly friend, who needs help to walk or stand. She shared with me; she puts a towel on the shower floor to keep from slipping. I saw this product on Amazon for a great price and fast delivery so I bought it. She loves it & while showering puts a little soap on the mat so she can wash the bottom of her feet. It looks great & help keeps my elderly friend from the fear of slipping in the shower.
