OPI Repair Mode Bond Building Nail Serum | Keratin Protein Nail Strengthening Treatment | For Stronger Nails & Nail Growth

TLDR- GET THIS!!! It worked for me w/consistency and patience. Product is a watery consistency and dries fast!My nails had become thin and brittle, so my solution to keep them from bending and breaking below the free edge constantly, was to start keeping them coated in builder gel and UV gel polish. That worked great for a few years, but my nails were in desperate need of a break from having them constantly polished.Once all of the gel polish was off I knew I was in trouble. My nails were now beyond thin, they were paper thin and peeling. The slightest touch would bend them. It was painful. I couldn’t even scratch myself. And of course, when you know you can’t scratch, is when you become the itchiest human ever. It was torture. All of my nails actively hurt.So I went on the hunt for something that could help. I eventually settled on this OPI Repair Mode. It arrived and I started using it immediately and religiously. Twice a day, every day. Without fail. I had reminders set on my phone to be sure I didn’t forget (thanks, ADHD!).The product itself is thin and watery. Not at all like nail polish. And you don’t have to have a steady hand to apply it. Just slop it on, wait a minute or so and go. Super fast and easy!The first month of use I would go back and forth with myself trying to figure out if it was working or not. It was definitely working some and my nails had become less painful, but I still couldn’t scratch any itches I had. My nails were still thin and breaking, even though I kept them as short as possible.Toward the end of the second month is when I finally knew progress was being made. My nails weren’t peeling or painful anymore. And I was able to lightly scratch my itches again. Finally!!After a solid 2 months of use, I decided to cut down to using the product once a day and start incorporating revitalizing cuticle oil (I used Cuccio that I found here on Amazon) into my nail rehab routine. I would use the cuticle oil on my nails and the surrounding skin (rubbing it in as much as possible) in the morning and usually at least once during the day, then at night I’d put on the Repair Mode. I did that for a couple of weeks, then stopped using the Repair Mode altogether.Now I just use the oil a few times a day without a schedule or reminders. Just whenever I remember or feel like my nails are feeling extra dry. It’s been about 3 months now and my nails are almost back to what I’d call normal.I really hope this review helps anyone who was in my shoes. It’s not fun to have painful, bendy, peeling, breaking, nails, but there is hope! I hope this works for you like it did for me!!

I’m a 42 year old female that finally found THEBEST nail strengthener/growth product I’ve used and that saying something🥳. Took long enough. My nails were always paper thin after years of acrylics, gels, gel x, etc. they wouldn’t grow and they would bend in the wind. I remembered I had bought this product awhile ago and decided to give it a whirl. 3 weeks later and I have stronger and longer nails than I’ve EVER had before. They aren’t breaking. I even have one nail that has a crack all the way down the bed. It would always break when it got to a certain length because it would bend. Now that nail is growing.The instructions say to use it 2 times a day, i did use it more. 3-4 actually.

I have been using it since May and just reordered a second bottle, I would still have plenty but I spilt it. It has helped my damaged nails tremendously after 30 years of acrylic nails, it has even helped a nail that was damaged when I was a child and it hasn’t grown right since. It will never completely grown right due to the nail bed itself being so damaged but it has so far stopped the ridges that were deep and now the nail is smooth as it grows out. I think I might keep using it forever!

Love how this product is mending my constantly splitting nails. Works awesome. Only draw back is that if I attempt to put a topcoat over it (hours after it dries) it tends to peel off. So I would recommend washing your hands prior to putting any polish on.

Do not buy if your nails are severely damaged from gel/acrylics or are naturally thin. I thought I did my research, but it was until this damaged my nails more that I found out more about the product. The salon drilled all my gel off which thinned my nails severely. I didn’t think this would fill in those missing areas but I WAS hoping it would help with the keratin bonds and build strength with the nail I had left and any new growth. I used the product as directed, twice a day (about 12 hours apart) for 6 days. After I stopped using it, I noticed my finger nails felt like they were burning. I then noticed that the nail was separating from the nail bed. In the picture, my nails were already filed down as short as I could, down to the hyponychium. You can see that my “new free edge” is way below where it should be. This seemed to have happened because since the nails are so thin, the solution soaks into the nail bed (skin), which it’s not made for. The reaction of the chemicals/ingredients with the skin causes the separation. This is meant more for healthy layered nails that may have minimal peeling or other issues. But the nail should ideally have most of its layers so that to solution is only penetrating nail.. There should really be more information about this from OPI… I wanted to save my nails and made them worse.
