For my first time making wax melts this is the best kit to start with, it's so easy to use and has everything you need to start making melts, cleans up easy and love making different scents, fun little hobby.Highly recommend

I only received half of the items advertised, no wax, no wicks and no wick holders were sent with. Definitely not as shown in the picture, was very disappointed in quality control , it was a very small box that I received. Don’t waste your money or time to return item.

Bought this to try and make candles and the kit worked very well. The wax melts significantly well and cleans easily once the project is finished. The hot plate work very fast and efficient so it can be a burn risk if not careful. I would liked it if it would have come with dye and an instruction book, but YouTube covered any questions I had.

It’s a good value for a beginner set, comes with almost everything you need. I bought it for the holidays to make everyone custom candles and soaps. Totally worth it to use to make a few small batches of candles.

Overall, the product seems good. The heating plate is heavy and appears to be constructed of quality materials. WARNING: before using check that the vented plate on the bottom is secured. The nut on mine was very loose…a few twists and it was taken care of. But I don’t think it’s wise to use it with the plate not secured. The wax seems to be good quality as well. Only real complaint is that one bag of wax was punctured during shipping, which spilled out in the box and made a mess. It’s stuck on everything (see pictures). It’s not worth asking for a replacement but be warned you may need to spend some time cleaning things up before your first use. On first use it smoked as the coating wore off, expected per the instruction sheet included. Or it could be some wax residue from the shipping snafu cleanup. Either way, it stopped after a bit. Melted the soy wax very quickly. Great temperature control options to heat/melt quickly and cool to temp to pour. Overall, happy with the end product. Note, one 1-lb. bag of wax yielded a 16 fl. oz. and a 4fl. oz. candle, so 20fl. oz. total pourable wax.
