Thank you** A: No. This is for running home brew software and PS2 backups. There are things you can do to get PS1 games running but compatibility is pretty terrible. It will work on ALL playsation2's from ANY region and all model numbers. The ONLY one it WONT work on is a small number of slim consoles with model number SCPH-9000XXX and a certain BIOS.
