Shapley's 076145 Original M-T-G Plus Mane Tail & Groom for Horses, 8 oz

This stuff is amazing, i need a bigger bottle.Both my friesian mares were turned away for 5 months whilst i moved down country. My youngsters tail is huge and was matted, it was impossible to get the tangles out. They both were also really itchy, manes and tails.Used this on their manes and tails to detangle and my fingers ran through her tail. But make sure you do a test patch top of tail dock, neck as some horses can be sensitive to this and can lose hair and burn them. Thankfully my two are fine with it and it saved me so much time and hassle of detangling the biggest and thickest tail. Highly recommend! Very expensive stuff, have a google as you can find it cheaper.

Was looking after a dog with unknown skin issues, they had major baldness & break outs of puss, scabs and dry flaking skin I started using this and instantly the puss went over night, I kept using and the scabs went, her skin became baby soft, she had new skin start to grown in. It is stinky I had never used this before so have no idea what this smelt like before this new scented one? Simple fact is the dog I was caring for was being left to suffer & the vets had all given up. This stuff seriously helped and very impressed how quickly it helped.

Does the job

Well honestly I have a Dogue de Bordeaux with skin problems and she was loseing a lot of hair and quite a few bald patches since I’ve been useing this product (1 week now ) her hair has been coming back quite fast and bald patches are disapearing it’s been a nightmare because she been on medication that didn’t work but This MTG plus seems to be doing the job my dog was suffering with allergy’s I seen the Americans use this product they highly recommend it now I know why so I highly recommend it sorry for long test but I’ve been happy with the results from This and will continue to use it and buy more for this reason 5 stars bang for the buck

Smells a bit strange but good stuff. Cleared up sore heels in no time. Makes the skin soft, conditioned and gives good protection against the wet and mud. Not sure yet if its made much difference to mane growth...

It may well work sometimes but not for me.

My horse had rubbed his tail and there was a small cut. Luckily I just put on a small amount of the oil.There was significant scabbing in the oiled area which, when it fell off, seemed to worsen the cut rather than heal it.I only used this once and I won't be using it again.

Make sure you do a skin test. I stupidly didn’t and it burnt my ponies skin and I lost half her mane because of this. Beyond upset is a understatement
