Good filter for coffee
I make coffee everyday and use this to even the water dispersion for my portafilter. Big thing with this is that it helps keep the brew head clean and less cleaning is better.

Espresso Machine Necessity
This filter is one of several different things needed to make a home espresso machine work as well as possible. I never had any idea how complex it was to make espresso. All this does make me appreciate the high cost at Starbucks a little bit more. A good cup of expresso definitely a bit labor intensive. That being said the screen seems to make the process easier. I have not quite perfected the cup but I am getting closer with this product, the distribution tamper and the needle distribution tool.

It is quite nice
This is a nice product, though you should make sure to check it regularly for trapped grounds and potential mold along the rim if you don't clean and dry it regularly.I used it for months in place of paper filters, and the only damage done was the group head putting a small dent in the center the first time I used it.I think its worth it - for those with sensitive tastebuds, you don't get a paper back note with this when compared to the paper filters you can get, and it made maintaining the group head a much easier task.

It’s NOT two pucks. Just one.
The photos suggest there are two pucks, and it seems misleading.

a must have
I have been working on making decent espresso shots and trust me its been a long frustrating process. I have seen many people suggesting using a puck screen for better water distribution and to avoid channeling. So I gave it a go, I mean how much of a difference can a puck screen do. I was wrong, it make my shots a lot better. I will continue on this new venture of puck screens usage. So this is what I can say so far; the screen it well made thick and all, make my shots a lot tastier, fits perfect into my portafilter, and it helped out my weak shots lol. I would recommend.

Keeps machine clean
Got this puck screen to use with a 58mm portafilter. After I grind the beans, separate clumps and press them, I throw this on top of the dry puck. It prevents the grounds from getting the hot water dispenser (group head?) dirty. And makes for a nice cup of espresso. No one really needs a puck screen, but if you like an espresso process, and you want your cleaning to be a little easier, this is a nice puck screen to have. And it's not really expensive for the value over many, many cups of espresso.
