Q: How many blades in the box?

Looking at the picture magnified, the box says 3 stuck. That translates to 3 pieces. But I have to agree that just buying the sharpener is a better deal. It comes with the 2 installed blades and 2 spares for a total of 4, and costs less.

Q: Do these dsharpen long point or sharp point?

This is just a blade. It's 2 cm long. Whether you get a long point depends on the shape of the tube into which you insert the pencil. My pencil sharpeners produce a sharp point but it is only 50mm long. This is not a long point. The entire cut area on the pencil is 2 cm which matches the length of the blade, but obviously 3/4 of the cut is pencil wood and 1/4 is pencil "lead."

These blade fit in your average hand held pencil sharpener, I would estimate that they are about an inch in length, maybe a millimeter or so shorter. You only get 2 in this pack also which when I bought them I expected at least 5 and was disappointed to find only 2. So about 7-8 millimeters long and about 2 millimetres wide
