Cheeky!!
I missed the Big Butt Book first time round, and regretted not picking up at the time. Fortunately Taschen have seen fit to issue a second run of Dian Hanson's derriere dictionary.Like the other books in the The Big Book series it is a substantial tome. I've included an image to give a sense of scale. The hardcover is fully illustrated and sports a transparent dust jacket that serves as "underwear" for the cover model. The book draws upon Dian Hanson's extensive library of images from her role as an editor of gentlemen's literature, and spans almost every decade of the 20th century. The book is ordered chronologically and includes a choice of images from each era or decade. The images are wonderfully eclectic and great quality. The models are a good mix and there are some wonderful bottoms on display. However I would say while ample for me, the rears aren't exceptionally big. So if that is your thing you may be mildly disappointed. One of my main complaints though is that it lacks some of the more abstract or creative images of the other books. As well as the images there are also pieces about particular models, directors and even a bit of cultural history behind the buttock.Another great book in Dian Hanson Big Book series. Is it my favourite, no, but it is a worthy addition to the book shelf or the coffee table.
