LoftZone does not affect the NHBC warranty, and is in fact the only product with industry approval for lofts in new build houses. Let me explain: Until recently, builders told people in new build houses that they mustn’t use their lofts for storage, because there was no product on the market that was safe whilst letting the insulation perform the way it is designed to. Some builders still give this advice, because they haven’t kept up. But LoftZone StoreFloor changed all that. It far exceeds all relevant British Standards, strengthens the joists in your loft, won Best New Invention from the Ideal Home Show, has the necessary “British Board of Agrément” certificate that means it can be fitted in new houses and we have it in writing from NHBC that it doesn’t affect their warranty. I'm sure the positions of the support system can be adjusted to suit the size of the loft boards. **Q: Could you use something like this in the garden to sit planters on?** A: No, and I have no idea why you would really. This is for use inside. It is not waterproof and has to be assembled to look like the pic. Is made stable by fixing it to joists in the loft, where it does an excellent job of boarding, for storage!
