I’m not done reading this book yet, but I will tell you that if you have ever wanted to read about t he Udall tornado l, you need to buy this book! It is AWESOME!

This was recommended by a friend who actually lived in Kansas when this tornado landed. After I've read it, it'll be a gift for her

Great telling of a story that is beyond fiction. The loss, the heart, the many kindnesses and countless acts of service. These details are woven together beautifully by a skilled storyteller who showed deep respect for those who went through this fiery trial, and in doing so honors their lives and their courage.

i remember this tornado having grown up less than 10 miles from Udall i was 16 at the time so really enjoyed reading ythis well written account of the events

Interesting book - both about the tornado but a different era in the United States.But the reader is "treated" with a lecture from the author on cLiMaTe cHaNgE in the Epilogue. If I had read the epilogue first, I don't think I would have read the book.
