Good value
I good value model that was a bit of a challenge to make with regards the wheels and tracks. This is the first attempt with Tamiya's individual tracks and it did take a fair amount of time and patience but in the end it worked out OK. Not 100% sure it is worth the effort as I think I spent as much time making and fitting the tracks as I did the rest of the model

Oldy but goldy
A late Tiger which could be built to show various tanks from 1944 to 1945.

A very good kit
This is a well made kit. The level of fine detail is very good. The only thing I have to suggest is that the track assembly is a bit of a challenge. Many modellers. might prefer the early production Tiger Tank as it has flexible vinyl tracks

Tamiya Tiger 1 mid production tank - awful tracks.
This was a great model to build except for one thing - the tracks. These are made up from separate links which have to be glued together and, before the glue has completely set, placed around the wheels. This was hopeless - every time I tried to position them, the blessed things would come apart until I gave it up as a bad job. I now have a beautiful model, lovingly painted, without tracks fitted. The tracks are now in useless sections in the box. It would be far better if a pair of one piece rubber tracks were included, as well as the separate links type for those who like to drive themselves mad.
