We decided to take things to the next level with these limited edition solid Walnut Pintail Longboards. Firstly Walnut is one of the most stunningly grained and coloured hardwoods, and we've been itching to design a board to really bring this out. Next we discovered a fusion of the past and future when we started experimenting with laser cutting designs onto our nude decks. So, we decided to go to town and design an absolutely stunning board with a laser etched wild wave design to pay our respects to skateboarding's roots going back all the way to riding solid handmade hardwood surfboards in Hawaii hundreds of years ago. If you really want to take it right back, then these boards are ideal for barefoot riding as the waves are the perfect grip for nudie feet. Our pintails are designed for the ultimate longboard experience. Long turns on open roads and wide paths, skating along seafronts, and really feeling the essence of street surfing as it was back in the 70's. The perfect aesthetic and ergonomic design will leave you wanting to get back on your board time and time again. The soft wheels and risers smooth out the ride, and when you pump, the wide board gives you great stability. As soon as you plant both feet on the deck it changes into a glassy responsive carving machine, leaving you with a grin bigger than the carves you turn! This really is a special ride, and very forgiving if you're learning or getting back into skating. The Nudie experience starts as soon as you lay your eyes on this beauty. Unlike any other solid wood board, this baby's not flat. The underside is contoured like a surfboard to give it a little flex and lots of strength. Each board is unique and made to order. They are masterpieces you will need to hold, stroke and ride to feel the nostalgic 70s soul we put into every one.
