This book is phenomenal! It will help you recognize the people you should qualify to build a relationship with and the ones you should disqualify. This book helps with relationships on every level, personal, romantic, and business.

This book has blessed me so.....I've struggled with building and maintaining good relationships.... I was missing the "how" .....WELL I found it in this book.....I was sooooo wrong about understanding the approach I should take with people...This book is amazing.....God bless you Van Moody....my life and relationships with others will never be the same!! This book was so rich with knowledge and wisdom, I'm not even sure where to begin. I chose this book because I am constantly looking for more positive ways to develop and end relationships that are not productive to my life. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not as knowledgeable in the Bible as I should be BUT this book taught me multiple different stories of the Word. Stories that will stay with me long after I finished this book. It's nothing short of a miracle how Mr. Moody touches so many bases & characteristics of unhealthy relationships. So many factors and unlikely things that take place when your involved in unhealthy relationships. I don't want to be even more long winded than I already have been, reading this book will change your life and enlighten you to how to you might unknowingly be an on going pawn in dysfunctional unions. It gives references to how the only way to move past painful instances is to find your own relationship with God & how you are not less than because of mistakes that you have made. It also teaches you that love, while beautiful, does not mean that the person who is providing that love, is meant to be in your life forever. That does not mean you are a bad person, it means that, you understand that, everything has its season and once that season is over, be grateful for it but move on.

If anyone were to take a realistic at themselves, and tell themselves truth; we all have areas we need to improve in. As a minister, I find it is very much needed in the clergy. As in in the garden it is always someones fault, why we miss the mark. Many time it is because we really don't know who we really are! So we train our-self to act someone who we feel has "go going on". Ever worse some go their own-way failing to get the training needed to give God"s people the leader they need. In the first few pages of this book you, will find we have work to do. This book will help elevate the life of anyone that read it. Take you time when reading it! Stop and take minute to reflect on the real you' not who think you are, not those sucking up to you say you are. But as the book subject find someone who really, really loves you and is not afraid to tell you the truth you! The next step is for you to be Man or Woman enough to take the truth and go deeper into to this book and receive the the help we all need. What I liked about this book is that there were a lot of place throughout the chapters that made you think critically. What I liked most about this amazing book is that it gives a natural perspective as well as a spiritual one. It really makes you evaluate all of the "relationships" you are involved in and all of the people you are connected to in whatever fashion it might be. This book made me realize that I don't have as many true and reciprocal relationships that I thought I did. In fact, I only really have one try one and it's my husband and I am grateful. I would recommend this book to anyone who has found themselves to be a victim of a starved relationships, I would encourage those who have "friends" that take advantage of them yet they find themselves making up excuses for them and are always trying to rationalize why they haven't aborted the relationships and just to anyone who has and might be experiencing a detrimental relationship and aren't sure what do do and or how to remove themselves from it without feeling guilty.

This book required me to look into my heart to seek who I really am and to look outside to the people I have in my life. It required me to ask myself the serious questions about who is in my inner circle. Who is really qualified to be there and who should I let go. Van Moody writes in a manner in which the reader can put themselves into the scenarios. A practical book that could change your life. The most important piece of this book for me is knowing that your relationship with God is the best relationship you can have, and we should build all our other relationships on that model.

My best friend recommended this book it changed my perspective on how to enter into relationships and how to nurture the ones I have. Even better, knowing when relationship are toxic and how to exit without regrets. This is a great gift idea!

This book changed my view on relationships! He was clever in the way in presented some aspects of relationships through bibles stories. I am forever transformed. You learn not to take relationships lightly. The book the after it got shipped.
