Danish Design Beige Pawprint Kumfy Kradle Cat/Kitten Machine Washable Sherpa Fleece Wide Radiator Bed

Ok, first things first: this product is a great idea and would have got 5 stars from me if only a little more thought had been put into the design. A few other reviewers have mentioned the hooks which go over the radiator top aren't sturdy and they are right. I got around this by cutting a piece of timber, slotting it inside the fleece cover to fit between the two hooks to keep them apart and stop them sliding in towards each other. It makes me think that the designers were in a hurry to get a product on the shelves and decided to not quite finish it properly. They could have had a perfect product so I just can't get my head around their thinking.That said, the product arrived within a few days and was very easy to put together. As soon as I put it on the radiator, Charlie jumped onto it and started pawing to make it comfortable. The radiator wasn't even on and he made himself at home. I have added a few pictures and in the side-view you can see how it looks like it's got too much weight and is at greater than 90o angle; this doesn't seem to matter too much as the weight of Charlie (approx 5.8kg) causes a dip in the bed part, so he doesn't roll off.Charlie's been in and out of the lounge and every time he is in, he's back on the Kumfy Kradle. Not much room for him to stretch out, but just right for a curled-up sleep.This is only the first day, so I might be jumping the gun a little with my review but if anything goes wrong with it, I'll submit an updated one.

My cats love this, although they won't sit on anything without one of their blankets on it, nothing to do with the product but more their pampered tushes!It does tend to lean forward slightly as the bit that sits on the radiator is quite large (even for the regular sized one)It's not as soft and fluffy as it looks but that is ok as I think it needs to be a bit robust to deal with the claws. It feels very thick and quite luxurious!I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is not as saggy in the middle as I had expected it to be and as the picture appears to show I'm sure with regular use though it might loosen up a bit.It takes a bit of a jiggle to get the frame in the cover but it's not too bad and there are instructions included.I was going back and forth on buying this product for a few months, unsure if my cats would use it or not but i am very glad I took the plunge!!I'd say if you have two cats that might like this, buy two of them even if they don't mind a bit of a cuddle (Mine are mum and baby but like to stretch out!)

This is popular with both our cats, but even though we ordered the narrow variant it pushes the bed to quite an extreme angle (rather than the bed being horizontal) meaning the cat is pushed toward the edge. All our radiators are these single depth versions and so there isn't much we can do to prevent this.However even with this downside the bed is bigger than many on the market and the construction is like those I used to buy a couple of decades ago which is far superior to most currently on the market.Just wish they make a frame more suitable for skinny radiators like ours.

As I've already marked above, for me it was a good purchase but you might need to soak the plastic joining bar in hot water, before trying to insert the metal rods into it. I certainly did but then it was easy.The most important bit of this review, is that my 7 year old small Abyssinian cat just loves it. I've put it where she can see through a clear door to the outside. Even when she's not asleep, she's very content just to sit in it and watch her world go by. She, and my husband, think this has been the best purchase I've EVER made!

This seems a little flimsy when you assemble it and I can't get the cover to stay over one of the hooks so it doesn't look right, but this does not affect the function. It seems like it is not going to work when assembling because there is no glue or screws; it is the way it hangs that keeps it together but it is fine once on the radiator with cat in situ. It is only suitable for double radiators which I was disappointed with but that is my own fault for not double checking. My cat will use it occasionally which is a bonus because my last cats would not touch a similar item with a barge pole, but that's cats for you! I took a risk and I would not have minded if she didn't use it because it was cheap. Delivered quite quickly within agreed date - not as fast as a lot of items I have ordered from Amazon but not slow enough to moan about it. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

It's perfect, but be aware there are 2 sizes for the hooks (narrow or wide/double radiator). My cats fell in love with them immediately. They are really cosy.

Bought two of these for my cats, wasn't too sure how strong they would be, but was surprised to find they are very robust and easy to put together. I put the cats on them and they love it, especially when the radiator is on, they almost have a smile on their face and look very contented with themselves. They are a decent size as well, sometimes both cats get on the same one and curl up together and one of them is a quite a big cat. The covering is very soft and completely covers the bars and washed up nice, I bought the ones for the double radiators and they are a perfect fit. One of the beds was faulty, but Nutricare were very good, they responded straight away and sent a new one out quickly before I'd even returned the other one.So all round a good buy and a good service
