Intex SX1500 Sand Filter Pump 220-240 Volt (26644BS)

I was concerned that this pump might be too much for my small 4.5m Intex pool, but I am pleased with the choice. The pump is pretty quiet, and certainly quieter that the cartridge pump it is replacing, although it produces an audible gurgle It is not a distracting or grating sound. It produces a strong jet of water (with the upgraded 38mm inlets on the pool) that creates good circulation and keeps the water clean, even after going through the air source heat pump and 10m of pipe.

I got this for a 6,000 litre bestway pool, I needed some attachments (was aware before purchase) but really impressed with the cleaning power of this. We have an outside pool and don't currently own a pool vacuum (brooms and nets) and even with the pool living below a tree this thing has the water coming out crystal clear constantly. Cleaning it is super easy and I am very familiar with all of the functions now and overall very happy. We used the glass sand medium vs the the normal sand.

I brought this to replace my old filter pump which is the same model. It the best model on the market for big pools. I had mine for 5 years with no issues. Sadly this year it burnt it self out. I have a super large above ground pool that takes 2 days to fill. I run the pump everyday for 5 hours. It on a timer and comes on by it self once set. This pump is amazing. The suction on the inlet is very powerful. I used intex filter sand. This is not normal sand. I buy all my chemicals and sand in winter. So glad this was on prime day as I got it half price. Hopefully I will be replacing it in 5 years time or more if it still available.

Very good once you get it connected. Need Hose adaptors 2 to connect to Intex pools. This is not explained anywhere.
