Great budget friendly tool for the DIYer. Mandrel/Dies casting not the smoothest and may mar soft piping, but can be easily filed or sanded if desired. I was very pleased with how easily I gradually bent thin wall aluminum tube without major deformation or kinking. Overall extremely happy with this purchase.

Does not bend EMT conduit
This tool flattens the outer side and kinks the inner side of 1" and 1 1/4" EMT. I had hopes of being able to bend larger diameter EMT with this tool but it does not do the job.

Does not make a smooth bend. Shoes are too short, and too shallow.
Plenty of power to bend one inch pipe, but flattens the pipe if you bend more than 90 degrees. I think it will do the same on larger sizes. The shoes need to be longer, and deeper.

Amazing price!
This is the most cost effective pipe bender I have been able to find, and I have been searching all year! Everything I found was significantly more expensive and for half the tons. My boyfriend was ecstatic when he got his in the mail, and it ships quickly too! Do not let this deal pass you by! This product is a great quality and a great price!

Takes some getting used to but it did the job. Making repeated bends
Was able to make repeatable bends in multiple pipes.There was a little learning curve. Get a angle gauge and make conditions for yourself ! Made the job much easier😊👍 at a fair price. Only negative, not made in USA😩 Y😵

Missing Parts
Only one of the springs was in the box.

It worked for what we needed but within the first week the Die that we were using broke.
