I purchased this hat for a field day event and I am happy I did! No sun touched my face the entire day. The brim of the hat is large enough to protect your face from the sun. The material quality and construction of this hat is A1. The material is lightweight, but protective and solid. My only issue is the string on the hat is not long enough. This issue also did not interfere with the fit of the hat around my head. Other than that small issue, the hat is worth the money. I will be looking for this hat in more colors.

My husband loves this hat and he doesn’t like wearing hats! I got this for my husband since he’s always outside gardening and also does a lot of outdoor activities like kayaking, hiking, mowing the lawn, etc. and he loves it because it’s everything the description says it is! Very functional in every way. It’s a great buy, good value!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Cheezy looking but very effective. Large vent area lets out the heat. Purchased a light color and that helps deflect the sun's heat too.

This hat was the perfect fit, color, price, and style. It was exactly what my husband needed for the trip. However it was so perfect that someone else want it as well. My husband had his back turned for a moment and it was gone! No worries though, we'll be getting another one really soon.

This fishing hat has become my best friend! I spend about 7 months in the sun thanks to track, and this hat keeps me shaded and cool the whole time. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and gives great coverage — a must-have for anyone living that outdoor life.

Not the best quality. The brim feels (and sounds) like fabric-covered cardboard. Still does the job, but I wouldn’t recommend it or buy it again.

Love this hat for working in the yard. It is light weight and shields my neck, head, and face very well from the sun.

I needed a hat for sun protection and this was inexpensive and well reviewed. It arrived today and really like it! It's 100% nylon but the mesh band around the crown allows for air circulation and the crease from being folded was easy to steam out. It's well made and a great buy. Highly recommended.
