Outlaws of Britain to AOA International
I thought this was an excellent work giving American riders a window into the United Kingdom 3 Patch MC's; as well as an overview of European MC evolution through the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's into "the double aughts.". Shows integration into the strongest US MC's in the 80's and 90's.

A Fast-Paced Biker Story Infused With Outlaw Biker History
Here is the first thing you need to know before you buy this book; it is not about American outlaw MCs. Although American clubs the Outlaws and the Bandidos play a major part in the trajectory of the story within this book, be advised that it is about a British club called the Pagans; no relation to the US club. I found the summary of the book on Amazon to be very deceptive. Not that I mind reading about a British club. This book is about a small British club called the Pagans (no relation to the US Pagan's). The Pagans are a fiercely independent, small club in the UK. They butt heads with their local Hells Angels and other MCs in some severely violent battles and outbreaks of violence. Over time the Pagans decide to absorb several smaller clubs throughout the area under the banner of one patch. Calling themselves the Midland Outlaws (no relation to the US club), they soon outnumber the Hells Angels and start to get courted by larger US based MCs like The Outlaws and Bandidos in the hopes they will give up their own Outlaws patches and join one of the larger US based MCs. As part of this courtship, the Midland Outlaws travel to Canada, Florida, Australia and several other places all over the world and strike up strong bonds with Outlaws and Bandidos chapters. They see first hand how powerful and lucrative being absorbed into one of the big clubs can be, but they also see the risks. This book is an absolutely fantastic read and nearly impossible to put down. The story is told chronologically through the timeline of the Midland Outlaws, but often digresses to give ample history lessons about the origins of the big clubs, the biggest battles, the biggest rivalries, and the biggest outbursts of carnage. It is an exciting, scary tale, and some of the anecdotes had my palms sweating. For example, there's a moment when the Midland Outlaws are visiting the notoriously violent and murderous Taco Bowman and his Florida Outlaws. Taco has killed and ordered the killing of dozens of people. The main player of the book gets on Taco's bad side completely by accident and finds the barrel of a gun pointed in his face by Bowman himself. The tension the author creates is insane. The book is 100% fantastic action and story telling with plenty of historical insight. Obviously since this book deals with a club that butts heads with the Hells Angels and goes on to strike up relationships with sworn enemies of the Hells Angels, there's a definite anti-Hells Angels sentiment throughout the book. There are many instances where the author paints the Angels as being bumbling, disorganized, and vulnerable bone-heads. Ironic, considering the cover of the book features a famous picture of two Hells Angels on their choppers. Anyway, love them or hate them, the Hells Angels are one of the strongest, wealthiest, and most organized MCs in the world. The author's tendency to reduce them to bumbling fools is, to me, offensive and cheap. But that's my only complaint.Wherever your MC loyalties lay, this book is a must read. Phenomenal story telling, insane action, and important historical documentation... it's all in this fine little book.

I have read many books on outlaw MC's and this ...
I have read many books on outlaw MC's and this is one of my favorites. It covers clubs worldwide, including history, how they work together and classic tales of biker mayhem. All told in an interesting, page turning way.

Good book.
I think I read half of it and never picked it up to finish it. The way the author wrote, it was hard to keep my attention.

well written
A lot of books on this subject are poorly written and edited. This is not one of them. The story flows well and keeps you interested.
