Sweet Piece of Luggage-
I bought two of these Pelican boxes because they’re indestructible and guaranteed by the company to replace them if they break. I bought silver for my husband, because it was cheaper than black, but they sent black so they must’ve sold out on silver. Black made my husband happy, so that’s fine with me. I bought the orange one because I need to see my luggage and know it’s mine when it comes down the luggage belt. I hate orange as a color, but I can see it. The only precaution I have is because it’s a specialty box, luggage handlers think it’s video or photography equipment and in Miami, they delivered our luggage with other special items, like baby car seats. Once we realized they were over there, we were able to continue on to our hotel. We were confused at first as to why our luggage wasn’t coming out with everyone else’s from our flight. Then we saw it on the side. Just wanted folks to be aware it may cause luggage handlers to put it with the special luggage. The biggest reason I chose this size is because it truly is a domestic carry-on. It’s not a spinner, so the wheels are compacted into the design. It’s a sweet piece of luggage. We’ll probably get some larger pieces in the future. Aces!!

Amazing Pelican Quality, Brilliant Case, a Bit Small
As with all Pelican products, this is an amazing, quality case. Sturdy, well built, and flawlessly designed. There's a reason Pelican has a reputation for being the best of the best when it comes to travel gear, and it's not purely cosmetic. If you've got something delicate, expensive, or sensitive, Pelican will keep it safe during travel or transport, make no mistake. However, be careful that you accurately measure and read the specifications for each case before you purchase to confirm your load will fit! For instance, this case, the Pelican Air 1535, will not fit something as large as, say, a fursuit. It barely fits a mens large Carhartt jacket and pair of overalls. While it is the MAXIMUM airline carry-on size, it's simply not big enough for a bulky load. It would make a great camera case, overnight "bag," or electronics transport. But if you're going to transport something large and bulky, look at the Air 1637 or the Storm iM2950. All-in-all a brilliant, well-made, rugged case that out performs all the rest. Pelican is the top of the industry when it comes to well designed, reliable cases. As my friend once said, "the best stuff comes in Pelican cases!"

fits in the overhead bins in most planes
This is my airport go-to case for travel. It fits in most planes overhead bins, except for the really dinky overhead bins. This "AIR" version from Pelican is noticeably lighter if you have the standard version case side-by-side to compare them. That is a total win for traveling. the wheel set is nice for rolling across an airport and the case is small enough that it will go on the escalator with you, no problem. It will work as an impromptu seat for yourself when you arrive at your gate and all the seats are already taken---close the handle down and take a seat on your case. Yes, I do this quite often. It is not the most comfortable seat you will ever experience, but it is awfully available. I buy my cases withOUT the foam because I constantly reconfigure what goes inside the case(s). But this one is for sure available with foam, or you can add it later. There are two different style latches for these Pelican cases. The case illustrated here has a little button in the center of the latch which makes it easier to open. PLEASE TAKE NOTE---only one in five TSA agents know how to use this latch---if they want to inspect your case, they will try to open the latch by flipping it open, you will need to show them the button that needs depressed to correctly open this style latch. If you have never owned a Pelican case, it is worth noting that pretty much everything on the cases can be replaced. On one of my larger cases, I have replaced the wheel sets multiple times.. not because they are made poorly, but because I abuse the heck out of them, rolling the cases for miles over various terrain and the case loaded down. I have replaced latches from when a TSA agent broke two of the four latches. You can replace the foam as I already mentioned. The handle assemblies can be replaced. The point it, these cases are designed to remain in your service for as long as you need them. I think that is a seriously great feature and should not be overlooked. If you are looking for a hard shell case to stow in the overhead bins of airplanes, this is the one you should be looking at.

Expensive but worth it.
Exactly fits carry on size for United and Southwest, and the water tight seal is appreciated in the winter when you need to check the bag. It does seem to wind up at the “oversized” items section rather that the carousel about 50% of the time, even without a declared item inside. And tough. Even the rampers at HOU haven’t been able to damage it.

Pelican Air rocks!
I've owned a lot of Pelican cases over the years. This was my first time buying one for use as a carry on. It is PERFECT size for all airlines, 1/4" to spare on width, height, and depth...brilliant! Man this case is light, but VERY strong. The wheels are designed to last (cases with exposed wheels are fragile and silly). The handle is comfortable, I can put my backpack on the carry on while I walk around the airport. Its a little pricey, but VERY much worth the price!

Luggage for a lifetime
I've been tempted to buy any number of hard-shell carryons but ultimately settled on Pelican. The reasons why are likely well known to everyone: it lasts for forever, waterproof, dustproof, warranted, externally lockable, etc... Add another fifty for a lid organizer and clothing bags and I have a winner for weekend getaways. One thing I don't like is that, when pulled on its wheels, the luggage doesn't settle itself: it just keeps swaying on one wheel then the other until you stop/force it. Small issue, but it is annoying. Surely there is a way to design it to settle itself faster. Another thing I don't like is that the luggage tag can be removed while the lid is closed. It would have been trivial to design a way to prevent the tag from being removed unless the lid is open. Stare at it for 2 minutes and one can immediately figure out how to modify the lid to prevent it - not sure what Pelican was thinking here. Last thing: small, municipal commutes will see them taking your expensive Pelican and checking it at the runway anyway. All that said, I will buy (and already have bought) more Pelican cases for all my luggage. 2x Air 1615's, to be exact.

Pelican, Air, Improved
It’s a Pelican case, and everything you would expect from that. This is the latest version of the Air Carry-On. Air is notably lighter, while seems slightly less sturdy, shows the same durability with less weight and a little more room. The revision from earlier Air Carry-On is a second handle on top, in addition to the one on the side. It maximizes space over the traditional Pelican case series, and deftly comes in tenths of an inch under the new maximum carry-on dimensional limits (fits in the cage), and the airlines don’t blink an eye at it. That being said, it does not hold as much as other bags with the same outer dimensions. You will have to pack lighter even. Get this for durability, Pelican, security; not for getting the maximum amount of stuff on an airplane.

Super suitcase
I am recommending one to every traveler. Remember only Pelican case can survive in airport baggage system in case it's crashed by system. I want another Pelican case to buy! Great product!

Quite expensive
Good luggage but the material isn’t something I would expect hardigg to use so I guess it’s made out of house and licenced my best guess anyways 🤷🏻♂️

Excelente caja
