LOVE by essie Nail Polish, 80% Plant-based, Salon-Quality, Vegan, Pink, Self-Love Rush, 0.46 Fl Oz

Love this brand and color! It’s one of my favorite. Love the less toxic ingredients. The brush is a perfect size. It dries fairly quickly.

I've been reading about the toxic/harmful chemicals in nail polish. Many of them are carcinogenic. I checked the EWG website & found that the Essie color called "SELF-LOVE RUSH" has a low hazard rating. It's safer than most. It's a very pretty vibrant pink. (I would describe it as a raspberry color).

This polish dries fast, goes on nicely and I just love the shade of pink!

I’m not a polish kind of gal. When I do wear polish, it’s on my toes because I live in Florida where it’s sandal season all year round. But I’m in construction and my nails get damaged all the time. So it’s not worth the hassle of filling my finger nails, putting on polish, putting on a second coat, and waiting an hour for it to fully set. Then have it chipping off the next day. But this polish is actually worth it. One coat is all this takes. It goes on smooth and covers excellent in just one coat. It fully dried within 10 minutes. I’ll have to update my review regarding how long it takes to start chipping. But in the meantime, this might actually work for me. I’m not a big fan of this color but it’s still very pretty. I wonder if I actually need a top coat to protect it or not. Also, the smell is a bit strong. I normally don’t mind the smell of polish, I actually kind of like it. But this one wasn’t very pleasant. Luckily, it went away as soon as I closed the bottle.

I literally never write reviews but this is hands down the best product I’ve ever used. It lasts a solid week without chipping when I can’t get 2 days out of professional brands.

Even though it's 80% plant based, this has the same quality as all other essie nail polishes. It goes on with the perfect consistency, dries easily, and I end up with great nails. So I really appreciate the function of this polish. As far as the color, it's almost awesome, but I feel like it's missing a little oomph at the end. I felt the need to top it with a layer of clear sparkles, and then it's fantastic. I love it when worn like that, but I think without a top-coat if's a little meh, which is why I took off a star.
