I got these pens for my Bible study group. The pens have a gel-like ink. Unlike regular gel, they do not bleed through the pages, which is a huge plus for Bible study. The 4 colors are dark (or bright) and easy to read. One thing I noticed as I was taking notes in my notebook: The ink does tend to have those tiny gloppy dots as I write. It's not a big deal, but it is enough to be distracting, so I took off a star. All in all, these are great pens and it is wonderful to have 4 good colors in one barrel.

I was over the moon when I found out that BIC included a pencil with their multi color pen. This was always my favorite pen to use but now with a pencil...this is all I will ever use from now on! Replacing the green ink for pencil was perfect, green was always a little to light for my preference. If you are like me and still prefer to use a pencil on a daily basis, the BIC multi pen/pencil is the perfect choice.
