It works! It takes about a second to heat up, no naked flame does the job. My only complaint is that the lighter they supply is empty :-( the idea being that you'd fill that using a separate butane can, but it's easy enough to buy lighters cheaply in bulk and remove the flints yourself. Bargain.

Really like the product.It works well 2 little things that could be improved are the trigger is rather stiff to use and hold down and the internal lighter which works as the gas chamber is too small so the gas runs out too often

Maybe fine for some very small shrink work on joining wires, but I was looking for something to remove vinyl stickers from GRP surface.Didn't work at all to be honest.Easy to use though, just buy a cheap pack of lighters to fuel it.

Excellent product this is my second one the other literally workout after 12 years of daily use. For shrinking heat shrink wire joints its indispensable and can be throughly recommended.
