Size and design werevexactly what I needed to brighten a dark corner of my living room.

I ordered these lights for my work office. I was hesitant at first and only bought one because I could not find the exact one that we have. It was close enough that it even fit in the same hardware that was already there. ( this light does come complete with all that is needed). I have since purchased several more and have been very happy with the whole experience.

Like the simple texture. . . . Not clear or sterile white, and not the heavily textured sea-shell complex design either.Prefer to use screw in LED bulbs. Stay away from the factory permanently installed LED that will go bad and leave you with a useless light.

As some reviewers have noted, the socket is placed so that the center of a standard shaped bulb is about 1.5" to the right of the center of the fixture. There are many LED light bulbs that have an opaque lower portion, which is great for some applications (like desk lamps), but not here. GE makes LED bulbs that have consistent glass everywhere on the bulb (so only the screw portion is opaque), and using them with this fixture makes the off-center placement far less noticeable and much more attractive. The GE Relax bulbs have both 60-watt equivalent and 40-watt equivalent options. (My local hardware store has GE 40-watt equivalent bulbs without an opaque bottom, but the ones listed by Amazon show an opaque bottom.)If you have the tools to drill a new hole through the metal base plate, you could shift the socket over to the left to get the bulb centered. I hope the manufacturer will someday consider doing this.The light fixture is attractive and easy to install. I have two minor complaints. 1) The alabaster finish on the two I ordered were quite difference. One had really strong circular lines, while the other had much softer more random lines, both look nice, but don't really "match". Fortunately, I was placing them far enough apart that matching wasn't needed. 2) One light's glass shade had two small chips along the top edge. The packaging seemed great, so it probably left the factory this way. Poor quality control. (Both of these issues could have probably been solved by returning one of the fixtures and getting a new one; I didn't bother.)

Came with zero mounting hardware

Put this up on the wall in my Florida room (patio/sun room) to replace a little dinky light that was 20 years old but looked ancient. This gives a soft, but good amount of light over a seating area. It's a really decent size & the simple style of it will go with a number of decors since it's not intrusive in design. It reminds me of a half-moon .... well, if you're on your side maybe but you get my drift :)

These sconces were so easy to install. We put one in our hall and two going up our entry stairs. They have a very clean, contemporary look. You can't beat these for the price. I absolutely recommend them.
