If you get the original ones with the DJ ear pads and you need a replacement, these are the perfect ones. I wear glasses and sometimes small ear pads can hurt my ear but with these, I sit with them sometimes for even 6-8 hours a day on and I don’t get ear fatigue. Plus I realised that compared to the smaller ones, these ones balance the frequencies way better and a more profound bass with more high end.

I got the TMA-2 'Young Guru' headphones with these E05 pads, maybe 3-4 years ago. I've always found them incredibly comfortable, even for long periods of time. But I picked up the E07 on ear pads and switched to them when the E05 pads started smelling bad (I don't wear them in the gym, but wear them a lot at home) and disintegrating. Aside from the E05 ear pads being pretty uncomfortable, I realised my headphones sounded pretty muted and were lacking high-end, as I started playing with other headphones and external EQs - so stopped using them. I finally pulled the trigger on these outrageously over-priced replacements and my TMA-2 headphones are now vibrant, wide and cinematic - especially using Boom EQ for my Mac. And they're incredibly comfortable However, the price is insane. I'm going to have to keep these headphones safe, as a second pair of ear pads would mean I've spent nearly £100 on several cents of foam. Definitely knocking a star off for that!

The sound quality was poor and isolation was non existent. Shame as that's what I was led to believe.
