A quick way to press flowers
I have used this several times now to dry flowers which I use in resin and has worked brilliantly. It takes a bit of time to get use to the timings depending on the flowers, but I have found this is a great addition to my resin making for using fresh flowers.

Good and easy to use
Easy to use, with easy to follow instruction. Little bit expansive, but worth the money if you want to press flowers quite often.

Nice product!
Ordered it a while back and one of the clamps was missing, inquired about it and received spares today. Works even if one is missing! Remember to read the instructions and make sure your microwave is big enough, do some testing before trying it on things that you absolutely want to turn up nice! It's a bit pricey especially with the postage but for me personally is worth it to be able to skip waiting for plants to dry.

Flower press
Needs trial and error experimentation but very effective and worth the cash. Gives a new approach to the hobby and is much quicker and produces sharper colours

Microwave flower press
I've never tried anything like this before and it works really well. I would recommend this product for anyone looking to press flowers it's much faster than any other method I'm aware of.

Good invention but over priced
Good product but I deduct 1 star as I had to slice off a little from each of the corners with a hacksaw for it to fit and be able to rotate in my microwave and I don't think my microwave is that compact, so make sure it will fit before you buy, although as I say this problem can be overcome by reducing the corners of the product, a circular press of 8 and 3/4 inches diameter sizing would enable rotation with ease would be ideal. Dried the flowers quite well, although I think there will always be hotspots where the drying may not be uniform, depending on your microwaves functionality, so a matter of trial and error, 30 seconds initially and then bursts of 10 seconds until you get the optimum drying effect. Using the cloth layers supplied leaves the weave imprinted in the finished dried flower, not good for floral macro photography but acceptable I guess for drying for greeting cards and scrapbooking, instead I use ordinary plain paper in between the flowers and the woolen pad to ensure a flat and even press. I do think this price tag is a lot of money for what it is,so I deduct another star, pressing flowers in a microwave between two tiles is just as effective really. Way, way over priced for a piece of plastic with airholes and clamps. I found that the felt mats sold as iroing board covers work nicely as the felt mats, and can get lots of replacement felt mats out of just one ironing board cover saving £'s in replacing the felt mats from macrofleur.
