I absolutely love this curling iron! I have fine hair and I struggle finding a a curling iron that makes curls that actually hold. These curls seem to be staying in place and I love the long barrel. I’m able to curl my long hair all the way up to my scalp. For me this one is absolute winner. It is very easy to use, and easy to glide my hair through the clamp. I am definitely no pro at using a curling iron and I found this one very easy to use. Two thumbs up!

Fantastic curling iron! Super sleek and my hair Glides right through with every pass. Heats up very quickly and has three different heat settings along with the temperature going up to 450°. I don't have to keep the curling iron on my hair for very long for fear of heat damage so it's perfect for a really fast curl and smoothing out my hair. The extra long barrel definitely helps since I have long waist length hair. Bio Ionic is truly a very good brand and I have the blow dryer also I trust this brand and the curling iron is by far my favorite!

I was looking for a long barrel curling iron for my medium to long hair and after doing some research, this one had really good reviews. It was definitely more expensive than I would normally spend on a curling iron, but the quality feels noticeably better than cheaper ones I’ve owned in the past. The clip glides smoothly through my hair without snagging, it heats up quickly, and I like having multiple temperature settings. It also has a comfortable weight that doesn’t make my arms tired while styling. Overall it feels well made and has been easy to keep clean. I am unaware if the auto shutoff works as expected because I unplug mine and store it away. If there is a downfall I have not discovered it yet!

Purchased this as a gift for my daughter, and it was a hit. She's very happy with it, and I was impressed with the overall quality. It feels well-made, heats up quickly, and does a great job creating curls. Always nice when a gift turns out to be exactly what they wanted.

I'll start by saying I really liked the performance of my Babyliss Pro I had been using since Aug 2024. The only reason I went back on the hunt for a new one is that the Babyliss does not have auto shut-off (as my prior few models had) and I was weary of getting to the end of my street and heading back home to be sure I turned it off. Reviews on the Bio Ionic were some of the best I had seen and it had every feature I sought: digital with multiple heat settings and auto shut-off. The longer barrel was but a bonus for my long hair that hits mid back. So, I was quite excited to try it out. The first thing I noticed and was quite disappointed by was that the built in stand didn't prevent the top several inches of the rod from resting on the counter surface. That certainly wasn't great, but I got massively frustrated the first time I used it because I kept unintentionally changing the temperature up or down as I tried to wind each curl. Changed the position of my hand and very intentionally attempted to NOT keep doing it to no avail. Ughhh. I was so annoyed. I was going to keep it a bit longer and try to find a method that didn't cause the buttons to move but also realized that the back parts of my hair weren't even getting a curl. I made sure that it was on the right temp (360) and that it had been on that setting for a good minute (you know, since the last time I accidentally changed it) and it still came out as straight as a sheet. My babyliss was still on the counter and I turned it on to my normal temp (355) and did the same section of hair with a perfect very loose curl. As a point of information, my stylist says my hair is "fine but I have a ton of it" I do use smaller sections in the front that I am trying to achieve a bit more of a curl than the back where I am just trying to smooth it and give it a bit it a wave and I have been successful in achieving that with Babyliss (3 models), Hot Tools (2 models), and Kristen Ess curling irons in that 360-ish range without any problem. Why this one couldn't do it I don't know, but between that, the stand not keeping the hot rod off the counter, and the inadvertent temp changes, it is sadly being returned. Glad others like it and I sure hope I can find my new favorite soon.

I love this curling iron! The long barrel is perfect for thick hair like I have and especially for the extension girlies. I used to have extensions and this made curling my hair so much easier and quicker. The quality is great and I love this limited edition color they had! It heats up super quick which I also love. Worth every penny!

Overall, this curling iron works really well. It leaves my hair soft and shiny even on the lowest temperature setting, which I truly appreciate. The quality and functionality are great, I can do my entire head in about 15 minutes, and the curls actually hold — which is a big win for me.That said, I had an unpleasant experience with my first order. The box arrived kind of opened, but at first I didn’t think much of it. After a few days of using it, I started thinking, “This can’t be 1.5 inches.” I read several reviews mentioning how difficult and time-consuming it is to get a replacement, so instead of going through that, I decided to order a new one and return the old one.Turns out, I was right. The original iron felt more like a 0.75” or 1” barrel, even though the box clearly said 1.5”. That’s what made the situation more concerning. I don’t necessarily think it was intentional, but it really made me feel like used or returned products might be resold as new, which isn’t great. I partially blame the brand, but I honestly think it’s more likely people returning the wrong items and them not being properly checked.Moral of the story: always double-check what you receive.Despite that issue, once I finally got the correct iron, I absolutely loved it. Great product overall, excellent performance, and I would recommend it — just inspect your order carefully when it arrives.

My daughter is in dance and needs her hair curled for shows. She has long hair and we have struggled to get the perfect curl with short barreled less expensive curling irons. I am very pleased with this curling iron. It has cut down the time it takes to curl her hair in half.

I love this curling iron. The extra long barrel is good for long hair especially for my extremely unmanageable hair. Also I was worried it would be too heavy but it's quite lightweight. And my favourite bonus is that you can lock the temperature so you don't accidentally turn it up or down while using it (which I tend to do a lot).
