Worked perfect!
Quick delivery and in excellent condition! Easy installation and gave new life to an old laptop. Can't ask for more from a vendor and a product.

Charges fast, but does not last long
This battery will charge from dead to full in about 45 minutes which is crazy fast. However, because it is not an oem battery from HP it does not hold to the oem spec of almost 9 hours. This battery lasts for a maximum of 3 hours on a full charge. Now, I am running a large Bible software package and I run a few programs in the background, so I know that does not help, but for the $30 I paid for it for a 7 year old laptop to keep it running, I am not complaining one bit!

it works!
went to boot up a (just less than) 5 year old laptop I hadn't used in a couple months, and it was dead. wouldn't power on, even when plugged into power. I spoke with an IT specialist who said the battery is probably dead, so I ordered a replacement battery. it came the next day. installation was fairly simple. the computer turned on immediately. looks like battery life is only about 2-3 hours, but at least it works

Lasted 9 weeks
I ordered March 2023, installed upon receipt and it worked perfectly. For about 9 weeks. It is now June 2023 and the battery is completely dead, will not hold a charge and I am certainly not going to buy this company's products again.

No major issues and it put life back into my old laptop
Perfect replacement. It did require getting the captive screws out of the old battery and onto this one before it could be installed, but that wasn't a major task.

save the 'captive' screws from your old battery
perfect fit for the HP Probook 640 G2. the battery does not come with screws so you will need to use the ones (might be captive screws) from the battery you are replacing. For my laptop there are no other steps after you swap the batteries, it starts up and works right away.
