Oh, this makes drawing or coloring SO much more comfortable! I just set it on my lap and lean it against the computer desk (too high to draw on and crowded), and clip what I'm working on to the board. And I can pick up board AND project and put them somewhere safe when Messy Kitten comes to visit. (Not her real name. But she tends to leave muddy tracks on my artwork unless I move it out of the way.) Seems quite durable. Good value for the money. Some day I'll get bigger ones for bigger artwork. For right now, this is the perfect size for me. Easy to use. And so portable!

This drawing board is easy to work on different projects. In my lap, it's big enough to have my paper and my calculator and other things handy while I work as a matter of fact, I bought half a dozen of these things that I have different projects papers and photon while I finish other design projects.. It's a good organizer.

Nice firm background for art work in progress. I do find the clips difficult to work, perhaps because of my arthritic fingers

I like the size of it compared to the massive board I was using before. This is much more portable but large enough to still allow you to draw from your shoulder or elbow. I use this to hold Bristol boards but be aware that only small folios of paper will fit in the small clip provided. Be ready to use larger accessory clips, or at least use small amounts of paper at a time if you’re stuck with the clip provided.Works nice to hold down single sheets with tape as well.It’s pretty solid for weekly use at a drawing session. My experience with other products tells me that we probably should keep this board very very dry. I wouldn’t recommend wet mediums unless your paper is sufficiently thick. I do ink on Bristol and it’s fine. If I started doing watercolor I think I’d have problems.

Bought for my grandson who is a budding artist! Works well - would buy again.
