Home Made Taramasalata
The first delivery was a day earlier than expected and I was out at the time of delivery. I got home to find that the roe was completely defrosted. On contacting the supplier I was offered a refund or replacement delivery. The second delivery arrived in perfect condition and I am happy with it. The only criticism I have is that I would prefer separate bags of say 100g each to make defrosting a small amount easier. For great taramasalata just add freshly ground Malden sea salt and black pepper with a pinch of sumac plus cold pressed (ev) rape seed oil. This is as healthy as evoo but without the flavour and the sumac adds a lemon taste.

Excellent service
I don't usually buy foodstuff via post, particularly if it's perishable. But it's hard to source cod's roe. This arrived for Christmas, was in excellent condition, and tasted great.

I have never been so overcharged or so scammed with a such mean, niggardly totally tight-arsed portion for such an excessive amount of money...!! Their profit margins need to be through the roof. It is not that rare and it's certainly not caviar or even fish paste. Wouldn't go near it or them again. Caviat....! Buyer beware...!!

Cod's Roe
Sadly tasteless and dry. Would not buy again. Pity as it is our family's Christmas treat. Probably should have sent it back but couldn't be bothered
