I put one of these on my sauna door and used a magnet to help keep it closed. I used tape to keep it in place, but you may be able to use the provided foam pad without tape. The foam pad seemed too big for my case, so tape was a simple solution.

Well these arrived somehow either I missed that the magnets were not includued. My fault I should know better here. A partial solution is not a solution. That is all I can say that won't cause me a problem at this time.

The Utalind glass door clip is a replacement part designed to be used in conjunction with a magnetic closure that must be separately supplied by the buyer. The steel clip wraps around the edge of a glass door and provides a surface to which a magnetic closure can be magnetically drawn in order to secure the door in a closed position. The force with which the door is held closed is dictated by the magnet (supplied by the buyer) in conjunction with this steel clip. Easy to use, the clip slips onto the glass pane The clip itself presents a 0.83” X 1.57” surface to which the magnet can be drawn so there is more than adequate opportunity for a secure union that does not have to be pinpoint precise. The solid thickness of the metal of the clip should keep the clip from deforming during use but is not so thick as to interfere with its intended use. The portion of the clip that wraps around the glass edge measures 0.41” in its outside dimension but the glass it can accommodate would be considerably narrower. From inner steel edge to inner steel edge of the wrap around measures 0.33” but the manufacturer includes a dense foam insert that narrows the opening so only about a 0.25” thick glass sheet can fit inside the foam sleeve. The foam sleeve relies upon compression of the foam to secure itself in place but a user could supplement the foam’s adhesive capabilities with a sticky substance, e.g., double sided tape. The foam provides a minimal protection as against impact damage but that is not its purpose. Visually, the clip is shiny, silver metal with a very polished look and the clip arrives separately packaged in cellophane inside a plastic bag so as to try to avoid damage to the surface. The manufacturer includes four clips to a package which may mean that there will be extra clips as frequently only one clip would be being replaced. This product should help extend the useful life of items with glass doors

Fit the glass and holds on perfectly. I trimmed the white padding a bit so it wouldn't show.
