VittoriaLite Presta Inner Tube

Vittoria is a well known brand for producing high quality tyres and these tubes don't disappoint. Tubes are nothing special and these aren't any different from that but they are cheap, hold the air well and have a good quality valve.

I bought this for a fixed gear with 700x28c tyres.The innertube looked good delivered - brand new/clean - no holes or tears. I pumped it up a bit beforehand to check it out - no problems.Easily fitted to my back wheel and pumped up to 80psi.I've used my bike for a week now with no issues at all! Recommended.

Does the job. One replacement done, now to see how it does

Received a tube with a leak. Twice. Amazon are wonderful that they gave me a replacement but same thing happened and so I assume either I am the butt of some cosmic coincidental joke and received two faulty tubes in a row, or - more likely, these are not good.I replaced my punctured tube - firstly thoroughly checking my tyre for any sharp objects that may interfere with the tube. Found none.I replaced the tube with this one, pumped it up and went downstairs. By the time I got downstairs it was flat. I pumped it again and heard the dreadful hiss of a leak. I called amazon while walking to work (there are no public transport connections to my workplace so I cycle there). They sent a new one, I repeated the steps I did before same exact thing happened, tube had a leak.I then ordered a different brand and it has been a week and it hasn't even lost pressure so it's definitely this tube that is bad quality. Also I should mention it actually feels cheap. The build quality seems shoddy, frays everywhere especially at the valve. Stay away.

I know that's a funny headline, but there are lots of bike tire/tube things being sold which are REAL CRAP! This is priced little or no higher than other tubes, but gosh they're solid, well-built items. I've had none of the disappointments I've had with other brands. My daughter also bought Vittoria tires for her bike and they're great too, so I've become a real supporter of this brand. There's no bigger annoyance to have an issue in a somewhat remote location only to get out your spare and find it doesn't work.I'd recommend their products to anyone. I've never bought any "race" equipment but I'll say for their consumer items they have not disappointed.

At first when I received this inner tube I didn't think it was going to work because holding the tube up to the rim it looked way too big. (However I purchased the exact same size as my popped tire) Super confused and knowing nothing about bike tires I emailed Bell's Bike Shop. They explained to me how the inner tubes don't necessarily sit flush on the rim, they'll sit within the tire itself when it's mounted on the rim and the tire is what keeps the tube in place. Very friendly people and so helpful! So happy to be riding my bike again!

I am only using one of these tubes so far but it's been a few weeks and I'm thrilled with it. Just ordered another so I can keep the spare in my bag and swap the new one onto my rear. I've used other light-weight tubes before and this one is definitely lighter than an average tube but what I'm impressed with so far is the way it holds air. After a few days of sitting, there is virtually no drop in pressure. It's the best I've seen. I only wish the valve stem was smooth, other than that, I'd say they're perfect. If my experience changes with more use, I will update.
