As with other reviewers the arm does droop when curtain is attached but it does stipulate that this arm is for curtains of 2.5 kg or less so my rather thick back door curtain is probably too much for it! I just screwed a hook above the door so that when I use the curtain (during the winter evenings when no-one will be going in and out of the garden) and want to keep the draught out I just hook the droopy end on to it and no-one knows any different!

Whilst not a bad item, it is somewhat under engineered. As a result the arm droops when fitted requiring the bracket to be angled as it does not have drilled adjustment screw holes allowing you to adjust fitting of the bracket once in place.

Fair quality for the price, easy to mount - though I thought the supplied screws were woefully inadequate, especially if your walls are plasterboard; I used 4 x 50mm self tapping, through the plasterboard into the wooden stud behind, solid as a rock. I put a curtain of 700 grams and had to bend the bar down slightly to level it.All in all, very pleased with it.

I have a light weight curtain and this rail bends does not do job well at all

Really good product for the price. I’ve used heavy curtains which makes the pole bow a little. My advice use lighter curtains and this product will be perfect!

Really useful and handy, did the job lovely. Only thing is arm drops at end but I have over come this with a little DIY, so all is good.

It can take the weight of a thick curtain

The fit was great to begin with but bends easily. I have a medium weight curtain on it and it will only be used during the cold windy months. I'm hoping it lasts at least a year. Would recommend though.
