I bought this as the holdall i use for the Gym didn't have one on it. All it had was the strap and because of the way i set it up to be comfortable for carrying over my shoulder, the buckle for the strap was where my shoulder is.This meant that it was uncomfortable to carry for any length of time.Since my gym was a fairly long commute and walk away, this made the bag really uncomfortable to carry, i had to keep shifting and moving the bag as i was walking.I may have bought the bag for looks rather than function.As i was looking for another bag that would be more comfortable, i came across this.I decided that, as it was a good price, and i had nothing to loose.Well, i have had this for a few weeks now and have used it daily with the same bag.My bag is no longer uncomfortable to carry, no matter the weight inside it. It sits on my shoulder and the strap protects my shoulder. I no longer have to fidget with the strap every couple of monutes, i can just walk and leave the bag as it is.As my bag was black leather, this pad doesn't look out of place.For £7 i believe it was an excellent purchase.

Bought this to use on a cheap shoulder strap I'd picked up on Amazon a few weeks back to attach to a pannier bag & make it easier to lug around off the bike.The original strap cut into my shoulder & would catch on & stretch the material of my cycling jersey to the point I feared it would rip, and this pad has certainly stopped that from happening.It attaches quickly and easily by velcroing to itself, and has enough padding to avoid undue strap pressure & chafing.As I've only had it a few weeks, I can't get comment on its longevity, but so far so good & it appears to be very good value for money.

This is a well made pad and once attached is very comfortable, it is much better than the pads on the shoulder straps of my camera rucksack. I bought 2 of these to add additional padding.The width is very slightly less than the straps on the rucksack and the other bags I tried it on, this means that the strap it goes over has a slight crease to allow these to fit. This is not a major issue for me and does not affect how they work. I also found they can slip a little in use but this is common to all similar pads I have used in the past. I used a strip of self adhesive velcro between the rucksack straps and inner surface of the pads to stop this happening as much. The velcro is totally hidden once the pad is folded over.All in all I think these pads work well and I would be happy to buy them again.

I have a couple of backpacks which have really uncomfortable straps, these fantastic padded covers have fixed all that. They are well made and sturdy, comfortable and great value for money versus replacing a bag. We had a long walk and it’s made a huge difference to how pleasant the bag was to use, so much it’s like a new bag again. Really, really happy with these and will be buying a couple more sets for other bags.

Use mine attached to a guitar strap, and it does work well for that- and is SO much cheaper than buying a padded strap.However, I wish either the velcro was wider so it wrapped more tightly or it had some other extra restraint, as the pad can move a bit on the strap. Similarly, the pad is very slippy against your clothing and will very easily allow things to slide around - hoping this will improve with time/age.It's as if the whole thing needs scuffing-up a bit inside and out, so then it all offers more grip. Perhaps a little rubberised coating on the bumps would work well on a future iteration.

This isn't bad value for money amd provides a nice bit of cushioning.The only thing I would say is that depending on the type of strap you are putting it on, it may slip around in use while you are walking about. I plan to add a couple of stitches through mine into the strap to keep it where it naturally sits on my shoulder.I think this would be good for bags, camera straps and binoculars.

It's a well made product and fits very comfortably on the strap. The idea is sound and just needs a few tweaks to stop it slipping. That said, I'm still using it and am happy with it.After sharing my views with the supplier, they got back to me very promptly and have been absolutely fantastic even offering me a complete refund. However, as I'm still using it, I was not comfortable in accepting their offer; they then offered me a free product which I think is absolutely amazing service.Well done Qishare - I shall certainly use you again in the future!

Bought to replace original shoulder pad on laptop bag that kept slipping off my shoulder - mainly because the pad would turn such that the padded/grippy bit was not against my shoulder. This shoulder pad, by contrast, is very comfortable and ensures my bag stays on my shoulder. Really easy to attach to the bag and feels as if it will last for quite some time.
