Great item, lacking instructions
Flipping heck.....45 mins after starting, the damn thing is up. It is like a little Chinese puzzle that you have to try and try again. Once it is up, it seems great...but until then it becomes frustrating.Make sure that you have the 2 sets of supports looking like the picture I have attached to this review. Then you should be able to attach the feet easily at the bottom and the ones at the top.Great item, could just do with instructions 😀

For lighter keyboards when seated.
This stand is ideal for lighter keyboard at a seated position height but if you want it for a heavier keyboard in a standing position its not stable enough. Also I purchased this stand to go with the higher tier extension. Was extremely difficult to slide the rubber feet to fit extension. Also difficult to assemble for beginner, no instructions. Good value for lighter keyboard at seated position without the extension.

make sure of the tube diameter
The stand itself does a great job,but the extension was the same diameter as the keyboard stand,I search around to find a way to join the tubes together,I found an adaptor, which you fit both tubes onto about 6 inches long, then with an allen key you turn it, it opens the adaptor, and securely holds the two tubes together.

For the money it seems really cheaply made.
Whilst this was easy to assemble it came with no instructions... This might be because the packaging had a large hole in it though...The stand has a little wobble in it so not sure how well it'll support the keyboard under quick play. The mechanism for raising or lowering the height is easy to use.

Easy to assemble, sturdy and solid stand suitable even for heavier keyboards.
I have an old Yamaha PSR-740 which has quite a weight to it but this stand has been unfazed by it so far!Simple to assemble, and comes with the allen key required to assemble. Has a good, sturdy feel to it. It's been up a while now and I've every faith this thing will keep standing indefinitely. That's all there is to say really.Pleased with my purchase, feel this was great value for money.

Does the job
Great for my grandson's full-length key board. Only drawback is that I cant see a way to secure keyboard to stand so with a 7 year old who is learning the piano he had to be told not to nudge or to try move the stand & keyboard as they might part company. Its kept in a corner of the room and we've had no problems.

Probably not road worthy, but solid enough for fixed home studio installation.
I'm not sure these would last five minutes if you took them on the road, but for permanent studio installation they're solid enough. The only complaint is the bar which links the two sides together doesn't extend beyond the width of the upright position, so you don't feel as if it's stable enough for a full size 88 note controller keyboard, much less a heavier synthesiser. Also, because the bar is at a fixed length, you can't shorten the uprights to accommodate a smaller keyboard, such as a two octave MIDI controller. This also means you're limited on how far apart you can have your lower existing keyboard stand.

Fitted my old X stand and holds a decentweighted Kawai K1
Bought a different set of extensions originally. They were more expensive, but significantly more sturdy feeling and more adjustable. But they didn't fit. These are not as sturdy feeling, but fit on easily and are able to contract and expand with the width of the stand.I have a Kawai K1 II sitting on them and have no concerns about them moving.
