My last plant died, looked on line to purchase from the original supplier, only to find they were now over £100, took a chance on this one, which was only £25 back in March ‘24. Have had a constant supply of fresh leaves, and it is really doing well, definitely recommend. Here is an update from my last, now beginning of July '25, marvellous supply now of fresh Kaffir Lime leaves, and an abundance of flower buds, resulting in lots of Kaffir Limes growing. Review: Kaffir Lime Tree so aromatic and beautiful - This review is for a Lime Tree (Citrus hystrix) Kaffir Lime I bought this recently as I've always wanted my own Kaffir Lime tree. I like to use the leaves and fruit in my cooking on occasion and there is no better way than to grow your own. The Tree was packaged well in a nice big sturdy box. On taking the tree out of the box, I noticed that there were four nice little lime fruits already on it a few flowers sites too. A true Kaffir lime tree's leaves can be crushed and the smell of beautiful fresh lime is unmistakable. But the only downside to owning one of these is that they have thorns which can be unforgiving if not handled with care. I re potted the tree the same day it arrived and put it into a bigger pot and gave it some water. It now sits happily in my kitchen growing like mad. It's been a couple of weeks since it arrived and my little limes are almost ready to be picked. On the whole it's a true delight to have in my kitchen and a really great plant that just keeps giving. There are also several new leaves which have appeared, and the little flower sites have now burst open so more fruit to follow. It would appear that my little tree is a happy one. This tree was excellent value for money. Mine is in a conservatory and it fruited in the first two years. Last year (year 3) I had problems with Leaf drop and it did not fruit but I think the reason was over watering. I have cut it back and this year it is flourishing again. **Q: what height is the plant supplied at?** A: Mine was supplied at about 25cm, not massive but I have pruned it a couple of times and got a really good number of leaves off it. **Q: Hi There, is the plant grafted?** A: Looks to be grafted yes ….
