Make life easy, probably don’t use on mead
Fit some of my carboys some of them had a narrower top that it did not fit through. Seems to be pretty good quality. Time will tell. Bought it for mead forgetting that honey and metal and a negative reaction in prolonged exposure.

Key feature, you can fit this down through the neck of a 5 gal carboy, and then the blades flip open when spun up by a drill.Nice for aeration or degassing.

Doesn't fit carboys
This will NOT fit into a carboy. The blades dont fold back far enough. This would be a great item if using an open top fermented. It was made to last.

Works like a charm
I've been wanting to buy this for sometime, loofinally broke down and got one. I had previously been using a plastic one that looked like an inverted question mark. This one works way better, it has a nice balance so your hand isn't getting jerked around. It's a simple design that's well made and heavy. I expect to get a lot of use out of it.
