As for now, after 3 weeks of using the machine all is good. Easy to use and finally the morning coffee is easy to make and the taste is delicious. When purchasing it, I was just afraid the plug will be European (as in the description it was written made in Europe), but the plug is UAE, so it is perfect :)

Makes really good coffee but annoying it keeps thinking the grinds tray is full after a few uses.

Machine looks good but broke down in less the 2 weeks - started getting LDPE 4 error. it suggested a faulty temp sensor. I do not expect it to happen within 2 weeks of very light use. Tried reaching out to Delonghi service centres but no one would help. the machine shows: • A red triangle (general fault) • A red cup icon • A red ladder/filter icon These indicators appear together and persist even after a full reset, cleaning of the brew unit, and a complete descaling cycle using De’Longhi’s recommended solution. VERY DISAPPOINTED - POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have purchased this coffee machine on Amazom.com.au It has a European power plug, where is the Australian power plug?

To use pre-ground coffee, you need to make one vup at a time, and never put the coffee before the option for pre-ground is activated if not, it will stop working and you need to clean the coffee deposit and start again. Also if you use very fine geounded coffee it might not work. The only thing I didn't like is that the water filter used didn't even register on the machine. I put it as the instructions said, but I can't know when to change it becaue the system didn't recognise it ( even though it came in the box)

I had the older Magnifica machine before this one but after 5 years it (sadly) died on me. This machine is neater, taking up less room on the worktop which is always welcome. There are lots of settings that I can't quite work yet (particularly the water temperature) but I'm trying. The milk frother seems a lot more logical than the old machine where you had to always pour coffee first and then milk as the milk frother would take a solid 10 minutes to reset and coffee couldn't be poured during this time. This is now rectified. I do think (personally) it's a slower pour, not substantially, but it is. Good value for money in the bean to cup market.

Nu drink ik met plezier elke dag een paar goede kopjes koffie , maak er capucino mee en mijn chocomelk is goed warm alsook meteen hot water voor de thee ! kortom zelfs de bezoekers zijn tevreden over zo een lekker koffie en de De'Longhi Magnifica Start is voor mij een handig super extra voor mijn huishouden !!!
