I actually used this for two projects: one, my medieval dress laces and to wrap around a length of flowers to make a blumenkranz. Second, it is the perfect kitty toy! I'm not sure what it is about this specific ribbon, but several kitties who "don't like to play" have decided that this is the best toy ever! Completely unintended use, but pretty awesome. The feel is soft, and it shines like a metallic gold (not a yellow gold).

The ribbon is as described. It's thicker double sided satin ribbon and works beautifully for ribbon leis. However... Be aware the description says it's 50 yards. All 8 of the rolls I ordered (white & silver) were only 41 yards (give or take a few inches). If you need more than 40 yards, you need to buy 2!
