I use a high quality single blade razor and have been trying some higher end shave creams to improve the overall experience. I get ingrown hairs easily and have sensitive skin. I have tried foams, clear gels, oils, etc. This is the winner. No cuts, feels and smells great. Close safe shave. No irritation. A little goes a long way and I also like that it rinses easily off the blade saving time and energy/water. A lot of others rinse from my face easily however seem to clog up the blade and take awhile to rinse between strokes. Try this stuff, you will love it.

I have sensitive skin and fast growing hair/beard so a close shave is hard to do. Pacific Shaving Company’s products are my favorite. The red labeled shave cream makes a luxurious lather with my SilverTip Beaver brush. My double edged Vikings Blade razor with Astra blades just slides across my face with no irritation as the beard stubble surrenders to the blade. Then after a clean close shave, my face is treated a daily spa-like regimen of one dallop of the blue-label caffinated aftershave which instantly calms irritation and moisturizes my whole face.

Listen up boys and girls... If you are looking for the best of the best in a shave cream, you have come the the right product. I base this opinion after trying many other shave creams myself over the years. I have used among others, the expensive George Trumpers creams (which are very nice by the way) along with numerous bar soaps and tube soaps. Without a question the Pacific Shaving Company caffeinated cream beats em all hands down. Why? You may ask. Simple. I can shave faster and smoother (along with my vintage Fat Boy razor) than with any other product. No, I was NOT given free product to say this. This stuff is amazing! A little goes a long way and it lubricates my sensitive skin like nothing else. My skin feels so good after shaving that I really don't need their great aftershave - but hey, "I'm worth it" as the old Loriel commercials used to say. Get yourself a tube or two for yourself and put a BIG SMILE on your face after you shave...instead of nicks.

First and foremost, the caffeine in this doesn't do anything to make you wake up---it's just there to help with the razor burn or irritation.Shaving cream - While this isn't a bad shaving cream, it's not that great for the price either. Make sure you look at how much you're getting, it's not that much. On top of that, it is fairly thin/liquid already so you won't be mixing water with it. It's a little bit too thin in my preference but at least it won't clog your razor as quick either. If you are sensitive to smells, you would like this because there is not much odor at all.Aftershave - This is actually a full face lotion, and I kind of like it. It's still expensive but I would buy it if it was on sale. It is extremely minty so it helps wake you up a bit in the morning and feels real good on the face. The scent goes away real quickly.All in all, it is a decent product, not great but not bad other than the price.

Excellent shave cream. I love the spearmint scent. The caffeine does help perk me up in the morning. I also really like the after shave balm. I don’t get nicks nor cuts any more, or if I do, I did something wrong. A little goes a long way. Splash a little water on your face before you shave. Put about a pencil eraser size button in your hand. Wipe it on your face. Use a little more water to spread it. This will cover about 2/3 of my face. Another small dollop, a little more water. Lather up. Shave. I clean my face briefly, then immediately apply the after shave balm.
