Nice white sand. I love it!

A very fine sand i used for my Japanese clay art. Usually I need to sift all sand before using it with a 400 mesh sifter (the finest I can fine), but this sand is already sifted and filtered right through with no left over particals in the mesh. Very soft to the touch and comes in a vacuum packed, resealable bag. Highly recommend for fine arts cradts

This is a nice clean sugar white sand, but I don't think its quartz, so I marked it down one star. The blocky 90-degree cleavage of sand grains seen at high power under a microscope makes me think this is a white feldspar. (Quartz has a conchoidal cleavage.) That's still good for the purposes suggested but is incorrectly identified. Quartz is used to make glass, whereas feldspar is used to make cleanser and ceramic glaze.

Doesn't melt in rain, good against saltwater demons

I loved the purity of the whiteness of this sand ; especially appreciated the container that lets you easily pour the sand into containers with a variety of size and shapes to their mouths
