These 60 watt LED standard base light bulbs produce a great amount of dimmable, shadowless illumination and are perfect replacements for our dining room chandelier.They are more pleasing in appearance than bulbous halogen bulbs and, over time, filaments are not as fragile as those in halogens.These LED bulbs produce little-to-no heat in comparison to halogen.After illumination I was able to touch the LED glass bulb without being burned (don't try that with a halogen bulb!).Cool burning LED bulbs are the less expensive, safer choice, extending the life of the lighting device itself and consuming much less electricity.Replacing halogens with LEDs, even before they burn out, is the smart, economical choice.

These LED lights are short and bright. The box contained six short candelabra bulbs. One of the bulbs arrived broken. Since I needed the bulbs immediately, and I only needed five, I just accepted the order and did not return the box. The bulbs were packed in a plastic holder, and the bulb was broken where the glass attaches to the base.

Installed 6 of them and they dimmed just fine.A very bright bulb and inexpensive.The mum was happy.

I first put tried these in my chandelier but they were way too bright, almost like an operating room! But when I put them in my downward facing pendants they were perfect. Gave off lots of light onto the countertop surface. Highly recommend them for covered pendants.

I don't like LED bulbs but this is all i could find to go in an overhead light fixture. The blub is nive and bright and because it is behind trasnlucent glass, it sin't offensive as so many led lights are. It fts the sokcets nicely and ahs been performing wel so far but I ahve no way of knowing about LONGEVITY, do I? (sillly question from Amazon)

These seemed to be very nice LED chandelier lights, priced well, nice and bright and natural light. They have started failing at 11 months - the power supply design must be defective - two of the 6 that we installed 11 months ago started flickering so badly that they had to be replaced.The typical MTBF for LED lights is many thousands of hours. Our dining room lights are typically on for less than 3 hours a day. That's less than 1,000 hours.

These 100 watt equivalent LED bulbs worked perfectly to brighten up our hall. Give a beautiful radiance to the entertaining way to our home.

My application doesn't have dimmer, so it works good for me. The life will be verified by time. let's see.It's pricy though.

I bought these to replace the incandescent 60W bulbs in my 6-bulb dining fixture, not just for energy savings but also for heat reduction. The old incandescent bulbs would get burning hot and the six of them together could raise the temperature of the room by a few degrees within minutes of turning on, basically a space heater hanging over the dining table - not very nice on hot nights.These LED ones are much better than I expected! The LED bulbs are just as bright and just as yellow as the "soft white" incandescent ones at full power, and they dim down to almost nothing for very nice mood lighting using a 15-year-old wall dimmer switch. They stay cool to the touch even after being on for several minutes, and there's no flickering at all. The only possible negative point about them is that at low brightness the LED bulbs look much whiter than the soft white incandescents, but it's not enough of a difference to spoil the mood.I would definitely buy these again, but if they last as long as they claim, I may not need to.
