I love this product and so do my dogs! I bought a total of 4. Easy to clean with the brush provided in the packaging, I hand wash them. I use them in their crates or play pin. My Min Pin has significant anxiety and this helps him calm down and get his mind off of everything else… I freeze the peanut butter so it lasts longer, and so far the plates freeze and thaw well.

Easy to clean, easy to attach! I try to keep one easy in freezer, but they are quick and easy to load anyway. We put it on the door of crate, then close it for a few minutes before letting puppy in there. She tries eagerly to get to it, and goes in crate happily every time. I put a little pb on there and give it to her when she won't be staying there, just to add value and avoid having her think it always means we are leaving.

The Lick Pad worked for my one dog not so great for my super aggressive dog he tried to rip it off and eat it so just be careful with that.

We have had crated dogs in the past but just started over with a new puppy. She loves her lick plate. In the middle of the day if she gets bored she just licks her plate for a few mins. We leave the door to her crate open when we are home and she will just hop in for a few licks then go about her business. This is a great training tool and fun activity for the dog

We have a lot of licky mats in the house, as they are a great way to provide the dogs with enrichment. What sets this one aside from the others is it's ability to attach directly to the crate. Before getting these, for use in the crate I used silicon ones with a hole at the top, and hung it on the crate door with a carabiner. But the licky mat would kinda swing around a bit as my dog was licking it, which he didn't love. This solves that problem.If I could change one thing about these, it would be the size. I have large dogs, and these are a little bit on the smaller side for them. But they are perfectly sized for medium and small dogs.

Not worth the money

I got these to help my puppy learn to love his crate since he’s still young and needs to hang out there for his safety when not supervised. These are easy to screw on the cage and easy to take off. I don’t use them when he’s locked in since when I first put one on the cage to test it he decided it was a chew toy. His supervised chewing didn’t leave a mark, but I don’t want to chance it. These also work well to hold by the same piece while someone cuts his nails or gives him a bath. We’re also starting to use them to work on his resource guarding (with the help of a professional trainer) so I’m get way more use out of these 2 than my other 2! I do wish they had different texture areas like some of the plain ones you put on the ground, but they hold applesauce, pumpkin, and peanut butter well. I also like the cleaning brush as I’ve found sending any of them (even dishwasher safe lick mats) through the dishwasher tends to leave some soap residue I don’t want my dog licking off with his treat. These are well constructed so I don’t see myself needing to buy them again soon and I’m definitely glad I picked them up!
