what i loved the most was that it was quick paced, beautifully writtena nd the character of ben was so greatly pleasing to get along with,......i just loved the magic lands' mystery and the epic adventure undertaken by the characters in this novel.....thank you terry brooks,,,,,,!!!!

Read all of Terry Brook's other books many times before finally deciding to dive into The Magic Kingdom of Landover Series and now I understand in part how Terry got started in his writing career. Thoroughly enjoyed the series as well as the rest his books. I can't recommend his writings enough!

I read the series in high school and saw this available as an electronic copy and gave it a go. Just as good as I remember it.
