5QT Organic Vermiculite for Plants, Soil for Potted Plants, Coarse Hydroponic for Succulent Orchid Gardening Reptiles

I ran out of my bag of MiracleGro perlite, and frankly, the last quarter of the MiracleGro was so small and crumbly, I decided to look for something better. Came across this deal, and the price on this is fantastic, and I’m so impressed with the quality of the perlite. Bigger than the MG perlite, but still small enough to use with ‘regular’ plants in potting soil. I also get very little dust from this, so it’s very clean. Nice size bag, too! Plus, it’s nice that the bag is clear so I can see how much I have left in a glance.

Not too chunky but not too fine so it’s dusty. Large bag for the value too, super stoked!

Not totally huge, not totally small. In my opinion it's actually perfect size and to me, that's Perfect!! Think I have found a good brand of perlite that I will be sticking with. Wish I could get a pic. You can prolly fit like 4-5 in each dime size. 1 of the best value, according to my calculations. Thank you!!!

This was the first time I purchased this product and I think I like it. I did find a lot of broken down pieces and dust but that’s to be expected. My Haworthias are all potted up and time will tell if they do as well as my previous brand. Fingers crossed

So can’t complain plus it’s affordable

I had an old 8qt. Bag of vermiculite and wanted to get more. The bag I purchased was advertised as 20 qt., coarse vermiculite. As you can see in the pictures, the bag is the same size as my old 8 qt. Bag. It Definitely is NOT 20qt. (20 qt= 5 gal.) It does not even half way fill a 5 gal. Bucket. It is definitely NOT coarse, and very powdery. Even though their tiny sticker says 20 qt., it is NOT! You are better off purchasing from a local big box store or garden center, and get what you pay for. False advertising and product labeling.

The only complaint I have is there is small sticks in the akadama. I did expect dust but not the small pieces of wood. Maybe it was the batch I received. I should have taken pictures. It definitely looks great for aquarium substrate.
