Good content
Great content. I needed this book for class. Please note it is only the inside of the book. Need to have a separate three ring binder to put the pages in. Bonus, pages are already hole punched. However one page did rip when I was flipping through too fast.

Great psychology book
I needed this for an abnormal psychology class, and it was a great textbook. I wish it was binded and not loose leaf, but it’s a good book. Anyone wanting to learn more about abnormal psychology should get this book

Inaccurate, Misleading, and Wrong
I understand that most people will be purchasing this book with the inability to to choose whether or not they want to use it. It will probably be assigned by a university. However, as someone who has practiced mental health for many years, and as a current graduate student, I can tell you that this book is very inaccurate, misleading, and sites sources so old that they are unaccredited. You can't publish a valid textbook in 2021 with references to the 1960-1990. The standard is 5-10 years depending on the topic. Furthermore, the book begins by explaining what mental health practitioners exist; but it completely fails to mention counselors as a legitimate profession. Instead it attempts to justify that psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers are the only mental health prsctitioners. This simply is not true. Counselors have existed since World War 1, it's not a new field. The statistics and references are so grossely wrong. Particularly those relating to violence. The final chapter on laws is grossly misinformed as well. They're teaching a lawsuit waiting to happen. My recommendations for this book would be to take away what information you need for it with regards to school testing, and then forget it
