Insinkerator Instant Hot Boiling Water Tap | 3573 with Tank & Filter

A doddle to install. The supplier provided free, on request, a 9.5mm x 6.35 final end connector. This took a week to arrive but I couldn't find ANY on the net which was a bit of a shag and held things up a bit. Not sure why a connector or a range of connectors is not provided with the product.Unlike my previous heater, this one doesn't overboil and the water comes out at 98.5C, hot enough for perfect tea. A good, well-engineered product.In case anyone is wondering, the electrical specification is 220—240 volts, 1300 watts, 5.7 amps so, with care, it can be run on a 13 amp extension lead as long as the total amperage of all appliances does not exceed 13 amps.

The media could not be loaded. The hardest part was drilling the holes in the worktop and in the base unit. (I already had a spare water inlet so only needed to use push fit connections to access the water supply). It takes a little bit of planning to make sure you space it properly so the supplied pipes reach. I consider my self to be competent at DIY and found it really easy to put together and pretty quickly once the holes were drilled. I love it, the hot water takes no time at all to heat, it looks great, really good quality, it's quiet when it tops up & heats the water. Did I say I love it!?

No LED light on the one that came but the one in the picture has an LED light which seems to make sense as you can see if it’s operating correctly.

Bought this to go in our new kitchen and didn't want a kettle cluttering up the work top.The item arrived within 3 days, the instructions for installation were fairly straight forward but also referred to on line videos which made a few things more clear.It states in the description that is doesn't come with the 9.5mm to 15mm connector, however ours did have one in the box which meant the only additional items needed was a 15mm equal T and some 15mm tube which I got from Toolstation for less than £10.The size of hole required is in the instructions, I used a 32mm hole cutter which was perfect. It says 32-38mm in the instructions but I wonder if 38mm would be too big of a hole.All in all very pleased with the price, delivery, instructions and the product.

Boiling water tap is a fantastic thing to have. Took the right tools and a bit of time to install but not too hard at all. You hear it boiling away but it’s not too loud at all

Purchased to replace a kettle after a friend had one installed.Could not fault it, fitted in no time and as we are now moving (2 years after the install of the 1st one) I have bought another to go in the new house.Great bit of kit and can not see myself ever going back to waiting for my morning coffee :)

This hot tap makes the kettle redundant, we use it for all boiled water requirements with no complaints at all. It was very easy to install and works very well indeed. The boiled water is always at hand so no waiting for a kettle to boil so its more efficient and cost effective. Would recommend to anyone.

The equipment is fine..works reasonably well..and a fitter or diy`er should n`t have too much of a problem... just be aware of the company used to buy it from.The description on this unit says clean filtered drinking water..ONLY IF YOU CAN DRINK HOT WATER. Any problems and..Watch out..this seller is experienced at not really helping.The seller will straight away try to send you to the manufacturer..seller is only interested in sales..excuses to get out of any responsibility. Amazon will try to help..but..once you have installed this , it`s almost impossible to remove it without some marks/ signs of work. If you paid for install..then pay again to uninstall .. and pay again to re install { unless a DIY job }. I had to refit my old tap..hot & cold working now !..a replacement tap wasn`t offered , only told to contact manufacturer..I have 3 kithchens..not using these people to buy from when I install the other insinkerator units .
