2 X IKEA Floor Uplighter Light Lamp (1)

The double pack at just under £20 is great value. Yes, the shade is plastic but I don't buy lamps for their tactile aesthetics. The previous IKEA build was more fragile - the shade shattered/marked more easily and the stand more wobbly. This version is more robust; and it's easy to put together without any tools. The cable can be hidden to some extent with two clips and since it's black, like the stand, I don't find the sight of the wiring too bad.It's cheap, functional, and gives great light. I bought two because the way they're constructed means I can group them together at different heights (by leaving one of the connecting "poles" off) if I want. I reckon the transparency of the shade would also look great with coloured bulbs.The only potential downside I suspect is that the shade attracts a fair bit of dust, being plastic, but anything that encourages me to be less lazy about housework is probably a good thing.Combined with energy-saving lightbulbs (bought separately), it's economic to buy and run.

Fab product - very happy to have bought it.Pros- Good height of lamp- Shade directs light upwards so there is no glare of light and the room is brighter- Has adjustable clips so that you can clip the wires to the metal post for neater presentation- Very easy and straight foreword to assembleCons- Base of the lamp is a little heavy and inconvenient for being carried around (however that does mean its more difficult to knock over)

Pleasantly surprised by these. Takes two minutes to put together and once assembled you can hardly tell the stem was in sections. The shade is lightweight plastic but looks like frosted glass. Good weight to the base. I'd like more than the two cable clips though. Four would be ideal. I'll certainly buy them again. Unbeatable at £22 a pair.Update; Bought two more. Excellent.

cheap as chips. poor construction quality. should last a year or two if lucky but i like the look of them. 1 head was damaged and had to be bent back into place.

I am disabled with quite a lot of different issues, but I still managed to put this lamp together. I am well pleased with it. Thankyou.

I’m going to keep it short and sweet, the lights are cheap end IKEA stuff .They don’t stand straight and there was parts missing from the package, (no light bulb holder)The seller was gratuitous to offer a full refund and to collect the item ,now that’s becoming quite rare on Amazon these days. so no complaints there.

Excellent lamp and great value for money! Nice soft glow and I only tend to use one per room. Bought mine 5yrs ago and then bought another 2 in December for my daughter when she moved in her own place.

I absolutely love these two floor uplighters, they are so easy to assemble and look so stunning in my front room
