Excellent chair so far
The chair arrived last week, very quickly. My husband put it together as he's a lot handier than I am, but I assisted and he seemed to have no problem putting it together. The box does provide an IKEA-type screw driver, so you shouldn't need a tool kit, however we found that you'll get a much better/stronger chair if you do use a decent screw driver to tighten the screws in properly. The chair's cushions surprised me. I read other reviews that claimed they were 'cheap'. I equate cheap to mean flimsy, but I didn't find that to be the case. The fabric is corduroy, a fabric that I've always found to be hard-wearing, and although it's not the softest corduroy I've ever felt, the back cushion is comfortable. I'm 5'7" and my head rests easily on the top of the cushion, so I think it's a good height for me. Whilst in the reclining position, I don't find that I need a pillow for my lower back, however when it's upright, I do need a little extra support.Overall, the mechanics of the chair are excellent. The gliding motion is silent and easy to keep going for long periods of time. The chair reclines by lifting the arm rests, pushing against the back of the chair, and then once you're in whatever position you want, you push the arm rests back down and they lock into place. I suppose this would be my only niggle. I find that lifting the arm rests up and down can be a bit stiff and require some muscle due to the design and type of metal used. Or perhaps it might just be down to it being brand new, I don't know. It might be easier if I spray on some WD40, however I'm afraid that might slicken the locking mechanism too much. I suppose I will have to wait and see how I get on in the months to come.

Excellent chair
I was dubious about buying a nursing chair from new (rather than get a cheaper second hand one), as I wasn't sure I'd really need one, however......I love this chair, and am so happy I decided to buy it! Once ordered it arrived within 3 days - I'm due in September, so haven't had baby yet, but I know this'll do the job lovely. It's super comfortable, and looks lovely in the nursery. The one thing I was surprised to find is that the back cushion is air filled rather than foam, so it kind of feels like your leaning against a lilo, but that being said, it's still really comfy. I've already covered mine with a throw to keep the cushions looking their best, I imagine stains may be tricky to get out of this type of fabric. Even though I haven't yet used the chair to feed baby , I can see it'll be the perfect height for my arms, to avoid that horrible achey feeling you get when trying to keep a little ones head supported. I'm sure this chair will make the middle of the night feeds that little easier!Continued...........Since writing this review back in August I've had a baby girl, and the chair has come in very useful, however......it's really creaky when I'm rocking her in it! I've put some WD40 on the moving parts but with no luck. I'm unable to rock in the chair at night time in case I wake my partner who starts work at 4am. Any tips on how to conquer the noise???

Glider
Love the size, fit, color, cushions and side pockets. Glides beautifully. It developed a clicking noise on the left side when you rock back, but is Not a bother. The arms are attached to the back and adjust the back for different positions. Upright, slightly reclined and lounging. The right arm doesn’t always stay completely in the groove and seems loose. It takes a little effort to pull it up and click it into place.Otherwise, it’s a great glider. Footstool is wonderful!!!

Superb Glider Chair
Fast, well packed delivery. All items needed were included in packaging. This is a lovely product. I almost didn't buy it because of its only description as a "nursing chair" ..I just wanted to replace a broken, older glider chair and it's description put me off. However, I read other buyers views and saw that several people had bought it simply as a glider. Glad I did. It is so well made and sturdy and makes a comfy chair for relaxing in. I use mine when watching TV and crochet ! It's just great, one other person did mention that the seat bad would dig into the back of legs after a while, due perhaps to the seam on the cushion being raised and perhaps not as deep as other cushions, however, this should not put you off when considering this chair as a purchase. You will not be disappointed. It cost way over half of the chair I just got rid of and is actually better quality! Relatively easy to assemble - took about 30 minutes from arrival and unpacking to siting in it. Overall - an excellent purchase and highly recommended.

I was extremely pleased with this purchase from all aspects
I bought this for my wife and we have never looked back. I was extremely pleased with this purchase from all aspects. The chair arrived in advance of the delivery estimate, assembly was straight forward, the quality is great and it is surprisingly sturdy. Before buying this, I had spent a considerable amount of time researching it - like with all baby-related items, there are so many to choose from. A close friend had purchased the Tutti version a few weeks prior to me buying this. I must admit that I was a little concerned that my friend would highlight where the price difference was between this and the Tutti, once she had tried this. However, to my surprise (and hers!) she preferred this chair! Needless to say, I was very pleased especially having saved about £50.My wife and our baby absolutely love it. The gliding motion is very smooth and is relaxing for both of them. The footstool is also a great addition and really helps with my wife's aches and pains.
