Great wood for turning pens

I had to look back at my orders to see if I knew I was getting only one piece because I swear it was for two but that was a different seller. So I received one piece of poplar wood that measured 6”x12” and it is ready to work with. It’s perfectly finished for me to use. I might need to order another piece to make sure I have enough to make the project I’ve got in mind to create and with this beautiful piece of wood I have a good start on what I decide to create and I’m going to attempt to cut it out with my scroll saw. It’s awesome to be able to purchase a perfect piece of wood for a project that is in my mind to create something that doesn’t cost a fortune to try it so I’m grateful for sellers being here on Amazon for me to purchase the wood for my ideas for a reasonable cost and Amazon is great for everyone involved. Just what I needed to fabricate a stop foot on a music stand on a grand piano. Just the right thickness, easy to saw and drill and finishes beautifully. I recommend

The board is perfectly flat, straight, no cupping or warping but..... There is a large split/crack on the one corner. I can work with this for my project, but if you are looking to use the entire length of board for a finished product, I would recommend going to a store where you can inspect the board prior to purchase.

Wood comes in perfect, smooth, and no dents, which cuts down on time to finish the product for woodworking.
